A Rothko using SVG

I came across Mark Rothko again in one of the lessons of this coding journey. I have seen look-alikes and copies in offices and homes before but never gave it much consideration as it just so abstract!

In this thought experiment, I considered what principles of nonrepresentational art could be applied to my life and the path I have been on.

Its easy enough to have the rectangles drawn, shade and give them an "unrefined" edge, but to come close to a brush stroke is a lot more tricky and I will revisit this when other options can be explored.
